1. Mold size accuracy.
The dimensional accuracy of the mold should be appropriate. Consider the design, production and molding process of the mold according to the drawing. The key is how to ensure that the actual size of the mold is within the dimensional tolerance range required by the drawing. This is also a problem that the designer must solve, otherwise it will affect the mold.
2. Shrinkage rate.
Even for the same resin, if the molding conditions are different, the shrinkage rate will be different. It is required that the shrinkage rate change rate is small, and the expected shrinkage rate and the actual shrinkage rate are as same as possible, but in the actual production process, it is generally difficult to achieve, and the mold must be modified after the mold trial. In order to better transform the mold, when designing the size of the concave part of the Shenzhen plastic mold, the shrinkage rate should be minimized and the convex part size should be maximized.
3. Prevent forming deformation.
The forming deformation of the plastic mold is mainly caused by the uneven shrinkage and internal stress inside the mold. Therefore, the preventive measures we can take are as follows:
(1) The number of gates must be appropriate, and each gate must be balanced;
(2) Choose the correct gate shape and position according to the mold shape.
4. Prevent deformation during demolding.
If the shrinkage rate of the material is relatively small, it should be noted that when the molding pressure is high, the plastic part will easily stay in the mold cavity. In addition, in the mold design, demolding is carried out without deformation of the plastic part to prevent deformation.
