Matters needing attention in plastic mold forming production

1. The parts of the mold should be removed from burrs and dirt before assembly, and the parts can only be assembled after cleaning.

2. Each part should be handled gently, and each part should not be hit directly with a hammer during the assembly process.

3. When cleaning the mold discharge during the production process, use a copper knife to scrape off the material or use a bamboo knife to clean, instead of using a hard steel knife to clean, so as not to scratch the parts.

4. If the mold is not used temporarily, the parts should be assembled after the algae oil, the inlet and outlet should be strictly sealed, and stored on a dry and ventilated wooden rack, and no heavy objects should be placed on the mold.

5. When the thickness of the plastic product is uneven, adjust the gap between the mold and the mandrel. Care should be taken to loosen the thinner side of the screw, and then tighten the thick-sided screw to avoid damage to the parts or breakage of the screw.

6. When cleaning and trimming the mold outlet, do not file the edges and corners of the mold downward, and do not remove metal burrs. Use only fine whetstone or fine emery cloth to round the edge and burrs of the discharge port and make it smooth.

7. The assembly sequence of the forming mold: first install the flange connected to the cylinder, then install the concrete mold, then install the split cone, core mold and other internal parts, and finally install the mold, sizing sleeve and gland.

8. Connecting bolts and adjusting screws should be coated with molybdenum disulfide or silicone oil before installation to facilitate disassembly at high temperatures. When tightening the connecting bolts, two diagonal bolts should be tightened at the same time to prevent the two connecting pieces from being in close contact due to uneven force.
